Eat the Seasons - March Rhubarb Taster Table

The third edition of our Eat the Seasons Taster Table featured Beautiful Locally Sourced Yorkshire Forced Rhubarb.



The Rhubarb is 'forced' to grow in darkness aided only by candlelight, this gives it the very characteristic pink colour




Our chefs had been on hand to create some visually striking and tasty items for our pupils and staff to try. On offer we had:


Rhubarb & Custard White Chocolate Blondies Rhubarb Chutney on Cheddar Cheese Focaccia

Rhubarb, Ginger & Cardamom Punch

And the old school favourite Rhubarb Sugar Pieces
